Idemitsu Holds CSR Mangrove Planting
Activity in Indramayu
![]() |
Idemitsu carried out a CSR program in the form of a mangrove planting initiative in Indramayu, covering an area of 1 hectare to support coastal ecosystems and reduce carbon emissions. Since 2022, a total of 10,000 mangrove trees have been planted across three clusters, with an 89% survival rate and an average tree height of 200 cm. |
| This mangrove planting brings extensive benefits, one of which is contributing to carbon offset or carbon absorption efforts. As mangroves have a higher carbon absorption capacity compared to other vegetation, this initiative is expected to significantly contribute to carbon emission reduction. | ![]() |
